MY 2018; A TOUR AROUND MY TOWN
#repost of my friends amazing town
Hello everyone, Today, I'll be taking you on a super interesting tour, so fasten your seat belts cos you are about to be blown away (not literally).
I'm from the proud city of Port Harcourt, in Nigeria. It is called The Treasure Base of The Nation. This city is so blessed with all the treasures you can think of; minerals, oil, food, water, structures, culture, lands and so on. I'll be exposing some of these awesomeness to you.
1. ROADS; When you come to PH, this is the first thing you'll observe, the business of the roads, cars, hawkers, traffic wardens. Port Harcourt has one of the busiest roads in Nigeria, as a result of the massive population here.
2. THE FAMOUS UPTH; This hospital is one of the biggest in Nigeria. It is very well known, as it has been there since the early 90s. University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital depicts how accommodating and prioritizing we can be with peoples health.
3. PORT HARCOURT INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT; Everyone loves a good travel, and this is what our airports guarantee. Port Harcourt International Airport is extremely large and welcoming.
4. UNIQUE UNIPORT; Aye. Everyone must have heard of the outstanding University of Port Harcourt. It is like the Havard of PH....and this is just one of Port Harcourts finest universities. This school has moulded very prominent members of both national and international society.
5. HOTELS; Okay, not to brag or anything, but Port Harcourt has one of the oldest hotels in Nigeria. HOTEL PRESIDENTIAL, out of the host, has been a hotshot since the 90s. Back then, any President or Ambassador who visited PH, lodged there; talk about solidity.
6. SERVITUDE; This town is blessed with kindhearted people who are very much concerned about the welfare of others. We NEVER miss an opportunity to bless our well structured Orphanage homes; very conducive for the kids
7. BELLS? You get to see a typical Nigerian wedding here in PH, virtually every Saturday (no kidding). Everyone is dressed colorfully and beautifully. It is as though the entire Nigeria is present; the turn up, CRAZYYY.
8. FOOD; Save the best for the last, they say. Okay, Port Harcourt has great food, I cant over emphasize. Just drool
See you in my next post >xoxo<
