Drinking From the lake of the Prophet In The World And Hereafter
Imam Ibnu Qoyyim rahimahullah said, "The coming of man to the lake of the Prophet and drinking from him on the day of tremendous thirst, according to their coming (in the world) to the sunnah of the Prophet sallallaahu'alaihi wasallam and take (take) from him. Whoever comes to him, takes from him and satisfies (himself with it), he Will come to the end of his lake And drink as much as he can.
He shalallahu'alaihi wasallam has two very great lakes (large):
lake in the world, that is his sunnah and what it carries (Islam).
And the lake in the afterlife.
Then those who drink from this lake in the world, they will drink from his lake on the Day of Resurrection, then there are those who can drink and there are obstructed, there are those who drink little and there are many who drink ". (Ijtima 'al-Juyuusy Islamiyah' ala Harbi al Mu'ththilah, p.75)
