MUSLIM WON GENIUS OLYMPIAD GRAND

Sixth grade student of the Seytek School in Bishkek Kubanych Turdubayev won the Grand Prix of the Genius Olympiad held in the USA (GENIUS-2018). The young Kyrgyz presented a project called "Remember the Sound and Recycle" in the category "Short Film", together with 12 other students accompanied by Head of the school group Aida Eshalieva.

This year more than 1,500 projects were submitted for participation in the Olympiad, out of which less than half were accepted.

GENIUS Olympiad contributes to a global understanding of environmental issues and sustainable development through fundamental science, art, creative writing, engineering, design and business development.

The Olympiad provide challenges and opportunities for high school students to help them acquire skills and knowledge necessary to be citizens, leaders, scientists, artists, writers, engineers and future developers - agents that will contribute to sustainable environmental development throughout the life.
