7-Day Wayback Music Challenge - Day - 7
7-Day Wayback Music Challenge - Day - 7 - Kansas- Dust in the Wind
It is the last day of this challenge and it has gone by really fast. It has been great thinking of all this music and the memories that go with it. I am thrilled I did it :) My last pick was Kansas, Dust in the Wind. This was a song that I played a billion times over and over again. It was a song that sounded as I felt most of my life. It really spoke to me and kept me sane.
The first time I heard this song was on a television show and I feel in love. This was pre-Google and you had to wait until the end of the show to read the credits to learn who sang the song. I have the patience of a goat, so this was a chore for me. I got to the end, the songs are always listed at the end, for those who do not know ;) I found that it was Kansas. I went the next day and bought the CD, ripped the plastic off and began my marathon of playing. To this day it is still one of my all time favorites :)
Me too a T........
I close my eyes, only for a moment, and the moment's gone
All my dreams pass before my eyes, a curiosity
Dust in the wind
All they are is dust in the wind
Same old song, just a drop of water in an endless sea
All we do crumbles to the ground though we refuse to see
Dust in the wind
All we are is dust in the wind
Oh, ho, ho
Now, don't hang on, nothing lasts forever but the earth and sky
It slips away
And all your money won't another minute buy
Dust in the wind
All we are is dust in the wind
All we are is dust in the wind
Dust in the wind
Everything is dust in the wind
Everything is dust in the wind
The wind
All the Lyrics are PERFECT!!!!
