To get ready to do a truly large scale collaboration song I am holding a contest to choose the first song we do. We have decided to do a steemit related song. A steemit theme song. The contest is to accomplish three things.

1)To promote the idea of doing a Song Collaborations as a regular thing.

2 ) To choose the first song we do as a collaboration.

To find a great song that represents and promotes steemit! We hope to share this song as a way to promote Steemit.

The actual collaboration will be the next step.

The winning song will be chosen by what will be the best fit for a steemit collaboration song. It will also be used in our first collaboration song. Performance will be a MUCH smaller judging factor than it is in other open mic type contests. So don't be shy. All genres and skill levels welcome.

Right now there is prize for 1st place only. I may add a 2nd place prize if we get more than 10 entries.

NO way to compete against those birds so I think this pretty much becomes a one- (or literally) a two-man show;) Many Contests are popping out at the moment and I will focus on openmic and the stuff I do for my leisure so there is no time to do a song here. But good luck to everyone!
