3 High Quality VST Instruments
Hello fellow steemians in my previous post i shared Free VST FX plugins that got amazing quality and i actually use them by myself in my productions.
Today i'm gonna be sharing high quality sounding soft synths that is absolutely free.
1. tal-elek7ro
TAL-Elek7ro is a virtual analog synth with some special features like oscillator hardsync and frequncy modulation. Including improved alias free oscillators, new developed fast envelopes and lfo's with a wide range from 0.1Hz up to 400 Hz. A free routable envelope with attack and decay is available too. This synth is useful for a wide range of sounds from percusion to deep bass sounds.
Very fat sounding synth that can be used by everyone - New users and Pro's. It is very easy to program your own patches and it's also very nice to learn programing on this Synth. Some production school's in my area giving synthesis lessons on this synth. There is also a PDF user guide on how to use the synth on the developers website.
The Synth come's in both 32bit and 64bit versions. Mac (only32bit) and Windows
Absolutely amazing sounding synth programmed by U-He's mastermind for Amazona.de. Making sounds on it is pure joy, it has similarities with the Roland Juno 60. The synth comes packed with a bunch of high quality presets.
This is a must in every producers synth arsenal.
3. Synth1
Synth1 mimic's the behavior of the Clavia Nord Lead 2. This is a Freeware synth that is capable of generating very high variety of different sounds without hogging down the CPU. It is developed by Ichiro Toda from Japan and the Synth is constantly updating. There's also a lot of sound banks for this synth around the internet. The Instrument comes both in 32bit and 64bit versions for Mac and Windows.
I have only tried Synth1 of these, it's a really nice Nord lead emulation & its free as well... amazing VST!
Here in Norway its called "the Yggdrasil Records synth" because a lot of their artists used mainly this VST for their early releases ^_^
I will check out the two other instruments in your article!
thanks for the review! i will definitely have to test out these plugins! i heard only of the last one and have not gotten around to checking it out, but i think this article was too tempting now to not test these :D
