It's not my favourite of his albums, but it's interesting to hear him trying some different things. Why shouldn't he go a bit more pop if that's what he likes. I did hear a couple of these songs on Radio 2 and I've played Pariah at the pub. I just need to find the right person to duet with me :)
I bought the deluxe version with a big book and even a 7" single. I need to check if I even listened to that. I know I haven't watched the Bluray documentary. I'm not finding enough time to just listen to music these days. Ironic when I probably have the best audio system I've ever had these days.
It's fits in the middle with me, I prefer Raven and Hand, but this beats Grace and Insurgents. I also found it more accessible than any of the previous offerings.
There was a point while listening to Hand that I couldn't get to grips with it, and then it all started to make sense. Typical of me really.
I love those two as well. All the albums have some great music though.
