2018 winner of pulitzer prize

Kendrick Lamar maintains accumulating the Ws.

Today, Kendrick's 4th recording, DAMN., was honored the 2018 Pulitzer Reward in Music. Based on the Associated Press, it represents the very first time a non-classic or jazz designer has received the award.

In announcing the accolade, the Pulitzer plank lauded DAMN. for recording "the complexness of African-American life."

Released in Apr 2017, DAMN. was also granted the Grammy for Best Rap Record and placed as Outcome of Sound's second favorite LP of 2017.
