As a musician in the beginning of a tour the first thing you need to do is to get the songs and practice them to exaustion so you can get to the first rehearsal and execute your part in the most perfect way you can.

Next and because I am the musical director in the most of the projects I play I have to book all the rehearsals and for that I have to check the life and the availability of all the musicians so I can have everybody together and believe me when I say this is not an easy task when you work with top musicians that play with a bunch of artists.

Now, as a musical director I have to plan all the arrangements for the songs and build a show that will leave the artist, I'm working for the happiness and the audience even more ;)
Now you have to get your gear (Guitars, Bass, Drums,Keyboards, Pedals, Cables, etc...) in the best condition possible so when you get to the final rehearsals you don'thave any technical issues and become a problem for the team.

As soon as all these tasks are done, you have to book the final rehearsal with a huge team just for you guys to have a picture in the past week I was preparing Virgul 2018 tour and we were 18 people working to get the best show we could.
6 musicians, 5 dancers, 4 technicians, 1 roadie, 1 road manager and the general manager.

We rehearsed 12 hours a day during 3 days and the results were very good.

This a resume of what you guys have to do to prepare a tour with a band, if you have any questions, please feel free to ask and I will try to help in the best way I can.

One Love and all the best to you steemians out there.

Rehearsal gives you the opportunity to do something you can’t do in a live performance, go back and fix mistakes. Sure, it can be tedious to repeat the same twelve bars 20 times, but it’s better to smooth out the rough spots in rehearsal than in front of an audience.
@paulobassman all the best for your hard work.

@sifatsarker rehearsal is the only way you can achive perfection!!
Thank you for your words, all the best for you.
One love
