Today marks the 50th anniversary of Sgt Peppers

"Sgt Peppers" brought forth a new era in not just the Beatles music but in the music community in 1967. It is an acclaimed concept album where The Beatles performed as a fictionalized Edwardian military brigade led by the character “Sgt. Pepper.” This album became an inspiration to rock, progressive, and psychedelic genres. As well as an anthem for the counter-couture at the time.

In celebration of this great album, the studio that I work at has but together a video of over 6o kids from our studio playing 2 songs off the album. I had the privilege of writing the sheet music for this and also recording the kids as they played. This has been a great learning experience for everyone involved as we collectively dug deeper into this momentous album.
