Clanadonia – “Scottish Street Music" (Unidentified)

“Scottish Street Music" (2013)
As the YouTube heading states, this is an “awesome” piece of Scottish music. Awesome, amazing, and more energetic than one might expect.
Beyond Pipes and Whistles
When we think of Scottish music, we tend to think of pipes, whistles, accordions, and maybe a light frame drum.

Oh … and the bagpipes in the background add a nice accent.
Clanadonia
Clanadonia are a “drums and pipe band with a difference” (self-proclaimed). They have been active for over 20 years, and, as you will hear, they are still active and strong. Very strong.
Bringing Havoc and Joy to the World

Hears! these guys make music with traditional instruments ...
Bagpipes, leather drums, timbales, whistles, percussions ...
A whole collection of amulets!
Those melodies that can only exist in your mind.
They really are eccentric, original, almost wild!
I remain convinced that music is part of the culture of the peoples and the beliefs of each one. In that sense, that becomes part of their values and morals that gives meaning to their lives.
For that reason we must be able to understand and respect their musical style, because it is part of their history ...
