Sid was only 19 when he met Nancy. Sid Vicious was a person who had problems of disinhibition, due to the addiction of drugs, lived a time in Ibiza when he was little, his mother sold drugs. Ibiza was a crazy and hippie world.
Sid began to become independent of his mother when he met Nancy, separating a bit from her, because he also had addiction problems, the bad thing was that he met Nancy a nice and beautiful girl, but he also offered her heroin. So it did not help.
Nancy Spungen had problems since she was little, suffered from cyanosis, had impulses of aggressiveness, tried to kill her nanny for a discussion of a movie. Nancy appeared dead on October 12, 1978 at the hotel where they went to live together, Chelsea hotel in New York. Sid was with her at that moment, they had consumed a high dose of drugs, Sid was unconscious and when she awoke she was dead with stab wounds in the stomach. Sid calls the ambulance and they immediately arrest him and put him in jail for homicide.
He said he did not know what happened, many say that Sid is innocent, that he was someone who wanted to steal something from Nancy, since there were many people consuming that day. Sid gets a lawyer and Sid's mom travels from England to pay bail for a lot of money, Sid gets out of jail.
Shortly after Nancy's death, Sid sought another girlfriend, saying that his only purpose in life was to have fun in any way. He gets into many problems, sid had tried to take his life several times. Sid was arrested for assault, enters the jail which helped him to detoxify, lasted a month and several days. On leaving on February 1, 1979 Sid throws a party, when he lay down in bed with his girlfriend the next day a friend named Robinson found him dead from an overdose of heroin.
A few days after being cremated, his mother found a note that said "We made a death pact, I have to fulfill my part of the deal." Please bury me next to my baby, bury me with my fur jacket, jeans and motorcyclist boots. Goodbye*"
