Onuka ("granddaughter") is a Ukrainian electro-folk band.

March 22 was released the album MOZAЇKA by band ONUKA.

MOZAЇKA is the second full-length album by the band. Above him, the leader of the group, Natasha Zhizhchenko and sound producer Evgeny Filatov, worked for more than two years.

"MOZAÏKA is finally formed, but it's too early to talk about the result," says Nata. "For us, the main reaction of the public is, let's see how they react on March 22, and then at concerts." Ten tracks entered the LP, each of which had its own mood, background, and place not only in the creativity of ONUKA, but also in my life. "

In the new plate, like the previous VIDLIK album dedicated to the Chernobyl disaster, there are a lot of personal topics. One of them is loneliness among public people. The track ALONE is dedicated to her.

"Loneliness of public people is a topic that is not acceptable to speak out loud," comments Nata, "Famous people - musicians, artists - should set an example for others, they can not seem weak, vulnerable, but this problem exists."

The creation of the musicians' track was inspired by the story of the popular Irish singer Sinead O'Connor.

"The spontaneous video message of Sinéad O'Connor, recorded by the singer in the hotel room, and published in Facebook in the summer of 2017 with the hashtag #OneOfMillions, caused a flurry of reposts on social networks," continues Natasha Zhizhchenko. "It was a cry for help." In a few days, the video was watched by two million people. "I just do not understand how a person can be so alone," said the singer with tears in her eyes, whose hit "Nothing Compares 2 You" - is a classic of pop music of the nineties. "
