The Korean Indie Rock Artist That Beats By Dre Prez Loves
Hello everyone and welcome to the first edition of my music blog!
I listen to at least one new song a day, and I hope I can help everyone here on Steemit discover new music too by posting about my favorite musicians from around the world.
Today's song is Comes and Goes, by indie Korean rock artist Hyukoh (혁오). Their sound is kind of like 90s indie rock with a little bit of shoegaze.
The four-member group was founded in 2014. They've release two EPs and one studio album all named after their ages at the time - 20, 22, and 23, respectively.
Leader Oh Hyuk - the hunky guy in the thumbnail above - was raised in China so he speaks Chinese as well as Korean. The group is popular in Korea, but is gaining recognition abroad as well. Last year they toured in Europe, and Beats by Dr. Dre President Luke Wood loves them.
Their music is available on Spotify in the U.S. I also recommend the songs Wi ing Wi ing, Tokyo Inn, and Gondry.
