Song of the Day - Watching Trees by Eleven Pond

This track really defies a lot of expectations for me. Released in 1986, I initially thought that this song was much more modern when I discovered it in late 2017. The fact that it went under my radar for so long and still manages to sound so fresh is a testament to the quality of the production on here. Great melodies, classic synths, and vocals that cut through the mix in that distinctive nu-wave style are on full display here. One for those who miss the days of New Order and Depeche Mode.
