This is such a helpful and well structured challenge. It will also assist artist to become regular posters, build up their fan base and put music out there for many to enjoy. Kudos to you @hollyup.
Thank you, @solomonsel. If you know any musicians, would you please let them know about this?
Without a doubt. I will.
Thank you!
I think the only two categories that would work for me are Friday and Sunday. I make original relaxation music. How would you suggest going about promoting that on steemit? For articles, I'm concentrating on the self improvement and well being niche.
Hi, @Musicman99. If you have two days that work for you, I think that is a good target to try to hit two posts a week. If you do this every week, that's 52 posts per hashtag, so 104 posts a year just for that music. As far as promoting on Steemit, you can try the hashtag #openmic and also post on @dlive and @dsound (and also use the categories for #dsound and #dlive).
I've seen at least one Discord group for musicians. I don't remember what it's called, but if you use the #openmic tag in search, you'll probably see it listed in the comments there.
Just like the rest of Steemit, voting and commenting also help. If you are comfortable sharing on Facebook, there are three Steemit musician groups on Facebook that can also be a good way to promote. Good luck, and let me know how it goes!
