Osheaga, Rockfest or FEQ?
The province of Quebec is well known for her impressive music festival scene and festival goers are starting to feel the heat as three of the main festivals have announced their lineup in the past few days!
Osheaga
Montreal's Osheaga is one of the biggest yearly Indie music festival in North America. It's basically Canada's version of Coachella
It's held at Parc Jean-Drapeau on an island in the St. Lawrence River. (For those familiar it's the same island that also welcomes the Canada F1 race)
Arctic Monkeys, James Bay, Florence + The Machine, Travis Scott, Post Malone, Tyler the Creator, Dua Lipa, Portugal. the man, St. Vincent, Alan Walker and Rae Sremmurd are among this year's headliners.
Each artist perform for about an hour.

Rockfest
Held in the same municipality of Montebello (1000 residants), the Rockfest kicks off the summer with three dates in June.
In was founded in 2005 by then 17-year old as a showcase for local punk and rock bands and it's now one the biggest rock festival in the World.
Montebello is one hour away from Ottawa (Canada's capital) but festival goers prefer to camp on the Rockfest's site or on local residants' properties.
Prophets of Rage, Weezer, Five Finger Death Punch, Godsmack, Lamb of God, Jimmy Eat World, Rancid, Sum 41, Flogging Molly and Cannibal Corpse are part of this year's programmation.

FEQ (Festival d'été de Québec/ Quebec City Summer Festival)
Held in the beautiful Quebec City. The FEQ last ten days and welcomes artists from all eras and genres.
Festival goers have the opportunity to hear and see many shows throughout the day. Each day end with one of the headliners playing a two-hour show starting around 10 PM on the main scene.
The Weeknd, Neil Young, Future, Shawn Mendes, Foo Fighters, The Chainsmokers, Beck, Lorde, Avenged Sevenfold and Dave Matthews Band are some of these artists you'll get the chance to hear at the FEQ.
