Great post! I love all of them. Martha my dear is probably my favorite Beatles song. And Brain... I can't even begin to describe his genius. Simply beautiful and amazing.
I agree with you, "Martha My Dear" in it's recorded version is a great song, one that never seems to get much recognition -- that's part of the reason why I included it in this post. So glad to have a kindred spirit who values that song as I do ;-) And yes, Brian Wilson, what a genius. His "Pet Sounds" caused the Beatles to step up their game and respond.
