Reply to quan Brooklyn kid who wanted to know why NYC Gang Members get no respect from L.A. Gang Members, But other cities do.

It didn’t start with Snoop. It started with Ice T who been on the rap scene since 82. I’m a 44 yrs old man and I’ve seen the streets of LA from the time of us being fascinated by Hip Hop In the early 80’s to the disrespect coming from NYC aimed at the Westcoast in late 80’s. Niggaz in NYC never understood that ppl die for respect over here, and every aspect of our lives in so cal has a element of gang culture in it. To start some beef with us is like rattling a hornets nest. Mainly because all these Niggaz know is back & forth warfare. One of the major differences between LA & NYC is, our OG’s call shots from the pen and that affects shit in the streets. In New York it ain’t like that. I’ve been going to NYC since 1990, and like LA. They both have calmed down a whole fucking lot.

If you’re a solid dude, you’ll always be okay in LA. . Niggaz here don’t fuck over a nigga just because he’s in LA and  came from NYC. But it’s the same way in NYC. I’ve always had niggaz embrace me over there. I find that if you keep the bullshit to a minimum and run the local program wherever you go, you’ll be okay in the end.
