MHKmusic update Jan. 30 – Feb. 5
Last week Tyler Gregory and Sons of the Republic entertained a full crowd at Auntie Mae’s. Bob and Diana Suckiel brought railroad songs to life at Lakeside Music. The Fellow hosted a rock show. Attendance was up again at Open Mic Night at the VFW. Daniel Dissmore and the Jazz Ambassadors and Charlie Roberts played at Bluemont Lounge on Wednesday and Thursday respectively.

This week will provide another Open Mic opportunity (this time on campus). Auntie Mae’s hosts The Manhattan Mob and a comedy show. Red State Blues Band will perform at the Manhattan Arts Center in partnership with Little Apple Brewing Company. There is plenty of country for those so inclined; including back to back shows at the Hat and Rickety Downspout at Sisters of Sound.
Manhattan bands Headlight Rivals and Philosophy of Lions will represent MHKmusic in Topeka on Friday.
