Muse development Update May 15th 2018
Well I'm a week late in updating you all, but not without reason :)
We had an amazing week! Many important milestones were achieved this past sprint. Developements on the business front greatly affected dev priorities. The team displayed agility only a start up can have! Despite that, 27 out of 28 action points of the original work load were completed during the sprint! The team is getting more efficient as the weeks go by.
This month's community update will be short since we have big announcements to make through more official channels.
So I'll keep the subject of this update to what transpired on the development side of things.
Starting with PeerTracks
- UI/UX tweaks for both mobile and desktop
- PeerTracks player updated based on mobile debugging
- “Like” feature implemented
- Ran through importing process (getting content from Muse to be displayed on the PeerTracks app) - This included the set up of a dedicated machine/work station for content import management
- Geo-location tracking enabled with user opt-out (to provide artists with data on their fanbase)
- Minor front-facing website updates (such as this CoinMarketCap ticker)
- Miscellaneous task too boring to put in a community update ^^
On the MUSE side of things now
- Improved the entire wallet to respect Angular standards (not released yet)
- New version release candidate announced to Witnesses. Update scheduled for June 7th
- Minor website updates
- Added validation to post content form
- UI clean up and styling
- UI review
- Implemented a portion of the suggested UI changes from review
- Improved error handling and messages
- Handled support issues
- More miscellaneous things :)
Next Sprint
PeerTracks
- Main focus will be platform hardening
- Building in-webapp push notifications functionality
- UI/UX tweaks based on tester feedback
- App modifications based on legal feedback
- Finishing mobile IOS/Android Apps and prepare for deployment
Muse
- Prototype MuseConnect
- Develop internal short and medium term Artist Verification methods
- Force HTTPS
- Enable Searching for MUSE Smart Contract from the UI
- Allow editing new and existing Smart contracts from the UI

Mehn I love the changes and updates you guys have made. This is a whole lot for this particular sprint and quite impressive as well. I think the tech guys are really doing a great job here. Let me address some of the point you raised.
These are wonderful updates to peertrack but I am particularly excited about the like feature being included here because people would naturally wana show that they approve of something by using either the like or upvote icon and that's how you also get to keep tabs on the progress of whatever you have uploaded.
The other updates made on the Muse side was quite understandable and easy to comprehend but I didn't quite get the above. What do you mean by validation to post content Form?
Looking out for the next sprint on peertrack and muse accomplished. Good job guys.
When you upload metadata of a song. Some fields have an automatic way of verifying. For example and email address needs an "@" sign and a "." in there. Some codes need 12 digits, if you type in only 11, it will tell you "this field requires 8 digits not 7"
That's what's meant by "validation to post content Form"
that's so easy
wow just found about this this, and your profile too, Followed!

That is lot of development...
If the same development would be done in steem it will be among top 5 and i am sure about that.....
Guess we know that doesnt happen...
Great to see the progress @cob! Go MUSE!!! Upvoted and Resteemed.
nice writing
Seems you 've made tremendous progress!!
When do you think IOS version will be released?
Well we must streamline the importing of music catalogs to MUSE. Then invite users to stream on PeerTracks, take their feedback, make or modifications based on that feedback and then we release it and an app. So I am unsure for the IOS app.
You will be able to use the webapp soon though! Free Music, Ad-free :)
Sounds great already.
Though I will patiently wait IOS release too.
PS. You guys make really great efforts.Thumbs up to you
Excellent, the blockchain world has arrived and is constantly growing!
Congratulations! They are innovations that are developed within the blockchain.
Great to see the development going strong! I can't wait to try out the finished android app!
