Musabaqah Socializing the Qur'an
Vice Mayor of Banda Aceh Zainal Arifin officially opened Musabaqah Tilawatil Quran (MTQ) Gampong Ceurih, Ulee Kareng Sub-district, Friday (5/1/2018) night.
The event which was attended by 165 participants from four hamlets in Gampong Ceurih will take place every night bakda Isya until Monday (15/1) in front yard meunasah local gampong.
Also present at the opening ceremony of MTQ IV Gampong Ceurih level include members of Banda Aceh DPRD Isnaini Husda, Kadis Syariat Islam Mairul Hazami, Head of Ulee Kareng Aulia R Dahlan along with other Muspika elements, Chairman KNPI Afdhal Khalilullah, gampong and hundreds of Ceurih.
In his speech, Zainal check-the familiar greeting of deputy mayor-expressed appreciation for the spirit of the committee and the gampong device and the high public interest to attend and witness the MTQ.

He also invites the audience to reflect and think if today many parents are proud if their children can follow the singing contest. The number of branches that are competed on MTQ Ceurih this year include Tartil Quran, Hafiz Quran, Fahmil Quran, Khat (Calligraphy), Azan Competition, and Prayer. "The closing ceremony on Sunday night will also be wears with the memorial of Prophet Muhammad SAW, "he said.
