Hanna
One mission.
I saw this on the shelf at the store and thought it looked interesting with Eric Bana and Cate Blanchett. It has lot of stunning scenery/visuals, from the frozen lands to the desert. Cate does an excellent job of CIA agent out to protect various secrets at any cost.
Cate is nicely balanced by the acting and the blue eyes of Saoirse Ronan (Hanna), Saoirse plays a wild at heart assassin whose main learning about the world has been via books very well.
A number of scenes seem to have gotten inspiration from Kill Bill, so if you are a fan you may enjoy this movie.
We have a young woman that has been raised by her father in the remoteness of Finland to hunt, to be ready for any attack, as well as tactics. In short she has been trained all her life to be the perfect assassin. The mission she has been trained for is to killa CIA agent (Cate), the one that killed her mother.
Hanna triggers a homing beacon which alerts the agency, hence, she is picked up and taken to a holding cell. She meets a junior agent who claims to be the agent she is looking for. This agent is swiftly killed and Hanna manages to escape the facility, only it wasn't Cate. So now Cate after her with only one objective. Which one will succeed?
