In streets of grey, where detectives roam,
A narrative falters, a story undone at home.

A tale that struggles to be reborn.

The momentum lost, the plot astray,
NBC's decisions bring a continuity grey.
A forensic artist arrives with charm and might,
But her arrival is met with a lack of light.

Crosetti's death, a revelation flat and cold,
Lewis's infatuation, a cliché to be told.
The romance with Tim Bayliss, a soap opera's pace,
A torrid affair in a coffin, a tasteless space.

Meanwhile, Munch searches for a gun's dark fate,
A community activist demands action, not debate.
Pembleton and Russert deal with a past mistake,
A lawsuit and a settlement, but no vindication to make.

The episode concludes with a somber, empty space,
Felton's family gone, a poignant, hollow place.
But the themes of gun violence and loss are left untold,
A somber reminder of what could have been, a story to be grown old.
