A computer has written the sequel to the "Game of Thrones" series! What events anticipate artificial intelligence

A programmer designed an neural network to write the continuation of George RR Martin's novel.

While waiting for the latest version of the Game of Thrones series to be released, programmer Zach Thoutt had no patience and decided to take action. How can not force George RR Martin to write the latest volume of the much-loved series faster, Zach has programmed an artful intelligence to write the sequel.Computer program is a recurring neural network that can process data sequences, such as human brain-like texts. Thus, this program has already written 5 original chapters, which continue the story from the first volumes of the series.

The program processes all the events through the first volumes and tries to insist on a logical continuation. It does not succeed every time, and the results are sometimes funny. For example, we can read the following sentences: "Varys has poisoned Daenerys and another man from the dead."Thoutt admits that the program is far from perfection, because Martin's novels contain many words and actions. All the events must be taken into account, so as not to re-enter into the story characters who died in previous volumes. The programmer states that he did not edit the text at all. His only intervention was to provide the computer with the first word in each chapter - which is the name of a character. It is interesting that some of the actions predicted by the computer include some that were discussed by fans as possible: Jaime Lannister kills Cersei, Jon Snow flies a dragon and Varys poisones Daenerys. The last volume of The Game of Thrones, which will be called  The Winds of Winter , is not yet complete, and the author still has a lot of work to do, as he himself admitted in a blog post.
