Movie Review - Jack Reacher: Never Go Back

We enjoy the Reacher series because Tom Cruise plays a modern day hero in blue jeans and leather jacket. There is no need for panty hose and we will never support comic book nonsense. Stan Lee was another degenerate from New York who had nothing to offer a civilized society.

The story line here is a corrupt private security firm that will go to any lengths to cover up their crimes which involve assassinations and drug smuggling. This is the classic cat and mouse game where innocents are targeted.

Reacher always knows how to think on his feet and is a pro at situational awareness. If pure action is your thing there is a lot of escaping, chasing, against the odds fighting etc. But we found the story a little lacking. The first Reacher film was much more captivating. Both movies are based on novels by Lee Child. The screenwriters were different, though. We don't understand why people like Wenk, Zwink and Herskovitz were tasked for this job, nothing good can come from people like that and the brand now suffers for it.

This Reacher is worth watching but doesn't live up to the first one. 4.1/5.0 Farts.
