Very good questions! I had a similar question asked of me recently - regarding what I would do for a record deal where they asked me to compromise.

Easy to say what we think we would do in a hypothetical (even though I'm pretty certain what I would do...) but nice connection made to steem!

I am anonymous, so I have less pressure on me to conform - HOWEVER... as you get to know people on the platform (maybe not as my real name - but as my steemit identity connected to a reputation) yes... i think there is pressure to stay away from certain topics!

where is the line between polite behavior and compromise? hmmmm not sure! but i sure hope i don't get trapped hehehe
