Review: Deadwood The Movie
Deadwood movie and HBO series, this movie is the end of a series that has taken 13 years to finish. The context of Deadwood is based on the celebration and gathering of a town to commemorate the categorization of Dakota as a state. In this town, each inhabitant has a story behind him, all problems come to light when United States Senator George Hearst returns to town for that celebration, and the whole movie starts from there.
• Opinion: The movie never becomes slow and boring, but quite the opposite, it always keeps you aware of each character of what is happening and what will happen; Each moment makes you fond of one or another character and, minute by minute, you want to know a little more about the conflicts and adventures they had in the past, these problems are shown in the form of flashback, which is not bad, but if you did not see The series (as in my case) will leave you a little confused. I recommend this movie if you like this type of era, since the 19th century recreates itself very well and demonstrates how wild North Dakota could turn in the late 19th century.
• Fun fact: In the year the film is set on January 1: in the states of Nevada and California, United States, a complete solar eclipse is observed.
