Update after 12 hours of race - state after 3:00 on #Sunday

It's #half of #race now. Still two #Toyotas #lead the race after almost 12 hours. #Night #session is coming to end soon 1 hour before sunshine.
About 1:20 #81 BMW M8 GTE has been hit with a drive-through penalty for refuelling on the skates.
About 2:00 Unsurprisingly, the #17 BR Engineering BR1-AER fielded by SMP Racing has officially retired due to engine failure.
About 2:07 Mark Patterson in the #25 Ligier of Algarve Pro Racing left the track at Mulsanne. The #American rejoined the #track and is #attempting to bring the car back to the #pits.
About 2:12 The #88 Porsche 911 RSR of Patrick Dempsey-Proton Racing spun and hit the #70 Ferrari of MR Racing.
About 2:22 News of another retirement. The #6 Ginetta G60-LT-P1 – Mecachrome of CEFC TRSM Racing has an #electrical #problem that has put paid to its race. Oliver Rowland, Alex Brundle and Oliver Turvey shared the #wheel.
2:24 Algarve Pro Racing's Mark Patterson has managed to bring the #25 Ligier JS P217 – Gibson back to the pits. The #mechanics have pushed it into the #garage. What's to do then... ???

At 2:51 As we head towards the halfway point in the race, José María López in the #7 Toyota TS050 Hybrid continues to set the pace ahead of Fernando Alonso in the #8 second Toyota. The pair of Rebellion R13-Gibson prototypes follow in third and fourth place, respectively 4 and 5 laps behind.
