Motorcycle Travel Series by @velimir 'Yamaha Brigante' (Part #212)
Yamaha "Brigante"
Have you ever dreamt of riding a plane? This customized model of Yamaha XV950 Bolt is probably the closest you get to fulfil your wish. Fully designed to give the English Royal Air Force vibe, this bike will let you relive a dream you once had as a boy. One look is enough to fall in love at the first sight with this example of keen design.
The image on the side is consistent with biker's iconography which was originally adopted from World War Two and usually stands for bravery and valour, just like the biker's cross. But this is a story for some other occasion. Many bikes have names. However, most of the bikes do not have their name written on the side. "Brigante" would be... Bandit!
The retro style is followed through with passion. I am, personally, not a fan of this old style seats because I ride for longer distances than the coffee shop. But, the vintage look and feel go hand in hand with the original idea.
Other elements passionately follow through.
The same goes for the fuel tank. The simplicity of the dashboard is also very welcome, even though one would expect pilot's compass mounted somewhere just for fun. Not sure where it would go, as there is not much space. The top of the fuel tank, perhaps? Maybe it would be an oversell.
Having two head lights is always a good idea. It widens the view angle and helps immensely when riding curves in the night. I wrote about this several parts back, so be free to check it out.
The engine area is also customized with a lot of passion for the detail. It seems that every single element fits the whole with a lot of taste. Number 28 is probably the owner's lucky number. :D
This drawing seems to be representing an old bomb targeting system, the one used for the devastation of the most beautiful cities. But, I am unsure of this representation, as I only remember seeing it in movies. If I am right about it, then it surely fits on the clutch cap.
Last but not least, the open muffler guarantees good thundering sound when you sit and take this powered-up flying machine off the ground and fly straight to your favourite pub.
Who says Bojan customizes only HD's? I don't even think he customizes anything, he simply fulfils people's dreams! :-)
Enjoy your day! :-)

@velimir, you are making me start to think of getting a bike when i am ready. I am gradually drifting away from vehicles to bikes and you need to slow down. Haha.
At the first glance, i wanted to ride that bike. :)
Riders with short inseams are going to love the short reach to the ground and to the handlebars.
I still remember the Yahama that was parked in our backyard and its forgotten for sometime. But i know it is really reliable. My uncle drove it then for years.
But to be frank with you @velimir, i will prefer this Yahama to the Harvey because its more like a start and go not like the Harvey that has so many accessories and protocol. From the Harvey you posted yesterday, it appeared to be that Harvey has that heritage look and this aura of authenticity(just in my mind).
But i must say that Bojan is really an expert. I agree with you. Nice pimp.
Harley, bro, Harley :D But I ride a Japanese bike. The technology is more advanced. Some people say Harleys have the soul, I love their looks.
Thanks for the correction @velimir. Harley it is :D
Cool choice though. Have a great day.
And thanks for the advice to visit @adsactly society
I enjoyed the post for today.
You are making me crave a bike- how many miles have you put in

This is just neat for a professional rider like, even if am not a rider, nd dnt knw a dime about a bike, I sure knw that from the taste of your bikes and your love, this bike is absolutly incredible. I fell in love already from the description, coupled wif intense imagination, I was riding it already. One more thing boss, doz it have a seat belt? Lol...enjoy ur ride sire! Bike designed for a Velimir....
hahaha...oh I like the style but not sure its for me! :)
Not for you sir? So am guessing you wey just making us salivate and hungry for a bike like dis? guess what, it worked...the bike is really smooth... :-):-)
It is! No denial there. But, not every bike is for every person! :)
it's a great bike, open engine parts and silencers with a powerful sound - brutalities add to it.
Two headlights clearly improve and extend the view at night, so you can "be on horseback" when you want (in my opinion this is some advantage over cyclops)
The main thing is that how this bike is made, its individual components and detailing adds personality to it. Do you know conda talk about the technique in which the soul is? I think this is the case.
Thanks for the aesthetic pleasure
conda talk? no idea what is it?
sorry, I was wrong in translating
this proposal meant that people believe that
motorcycles and cars has a soul. And when I see these photos I agree with them
Hahaha...so you saying this bike has a soul like velimir's bike?
this figurative expression
So Yamaha XV950 can simulate a near airplane experience? Little wonder why you are so passionate for it. The pictures are kinda super cool. Thanks for sharing your experiences.
@velimir, you have started again (making me pick intetest in your travels as usual) I was expecting to see a newly built mini plane affordable for low income earners (because I know planes are expessive) when I read "Have you ever dreamt of riding a plane?". That my friend really captured my attention, as a matter of fact, I immidiately thought of some fellows who would be intetested in such planes ( you can say my brain is working fast). Thanks for stimulating my brain.
Back to the bike, I like the design because of its small body (not like the regular heavy escort bike). The seat is a no no for me too, it needs more flesh/foam.
And that my friends is the sexy style on two wheels! Loved it!!!!
wow awesome bike Yamaha "Brigante",very well designed by yamaha.the fuel tank looks very sexy,"love at first sight" It must be very costly. Thanks to share with us @velimir,Please upload a photo of yours riding this bike. You are true Bike lover.Upvoted and resteemed sir.
