MOTIVATION MONDAY time dear Steemians. Have you ever heard of Benjamin Franklin ? Well, I'm pretty sure you did. This great character of America's history is the only person to have signed both the United States Declaration of Independence, the Treaty of Paris and the American Constitution. He fought for colony unity and get the title as 'The First American' and he's one of the five Founding Fathers.

He has taken a place so important in America's history that his face is printed on every 100 dollars bills! That's pretty impressive.

But the question remains unanswered: how did he get there? How has he become one of the most influent people of all time? How did he remain humble and fare till the very end of his life? How was he spending his time on earth ?

Well, you see, we could get a nice piece of advice from the text he wrote during his life, gathered under the name of "The Autobiography of Benjamin Franklin" and that has been a bestseller since its first release in 1791.

This book reveals a lot about the passion and the discipline Benjamin Franklin was living with. Constantly challenging himself, every action of his day was analyzed and perfected the following day.

I definitely recommend the book to any person interested in B Franklin's life and/or looking for mastering his/her mind and spirit.

Here for you 6 pieces of advice about time management extracted from the autobiography :

  • Strive to be authentic - be honest with yourself
  • Always maintain a lifestyle that will maximize your energy
  • Set few priorities and stick to them
  • Turn down things that are not consistent with your priorities
  • Set aside time for focused effort
  • Learn to spot troubles ahead and find solutions

To know more, feel free to buy the book :D

And don't forget, we all have the same time to spare each day. Use it wisely ;)

Life Bless You,

Rob.
