Why I didn't follow through going to Costa Rica, ode to intuition - motivation to follow YOUR purpose

Why I'm not in Costa Rica, a story of priotities and intuition

I'm sure many of you are wondering, why I didn't follow through with my backpacking to Costa Rica series. And it's quite simple.

I had a deep intuitive feeling I needed to be elsewhere.

I have been working on some ideas, and my Ted talk for quite some time, but have not actually followed through fully yet.
I knew in the time that I would be in Peru, I could lay the foundation for my ideas, that I know are within arms reach.
My gut turned, as the final moments before we were supposed to leave ticked.
And I heard something, a voice.. That voice of reason. And it said something I had NEVER heard before in my life.

We must choose the season our life is in.

I then realized, that I was trying to be in so many different seasons at once.
Sewing seeds, trying to harvest, trying to rest, and to grow- all at once.
This is ineffective, and against the nature of growth and of life.
The answer, after this realization, was simple.

It is a time to finish harvest, and plant new seeds.

So many connections, and dreams are this close in front of me.
And even though I have promised myself to leave the country once a year, I still may do so-
after I get these seeds set in stone.
Then, it will be time for rest, and to flourish in the spoils of experience!
Life, is one of seasons.
Of checking and balancing what we truly are in alignment with.
The best thing we may do is be honest with ourselves, for life is short-
and a day wasted.. Is a day we can never get back.

Do your best,
and at your worst, do your best to roll through it..
It's just a wave.

Find your calling, and embrace it.
For, all things have a part in the beautiful picture that is life.

Follow that, it's what brings us to the feeling, the mindset,
that we call 'home'
