This is the motherly love from a mother to her child.

The pain,the dignity,the weight,the labour,the motherly love.
Moving upward and downward with the weight in her,she carries the weight for 9 months. The weight shows that she is not a virgin.
O motherhood,the beast of Africa uses you forgetting what you went through in bringing them out,the beast of Africa uses you like a slave forgetting they are formed from you.

After 9 months she starts with the second stage of her life,she labours in pain,she screams with fear thinking her weight will never leave. She conceive the weight and that is you,that is me, that is all of us. With the child out she continue as a maid in her husband house she works for her husband and for her child. She protects her child she scold,she pet,she feed,she cater, and she spent most of her time on the child.
O motherhood take me to the place I belong, o my mother take me to the place where a woman will not be a slave,where there will be dignity for them,where there will be a change for all women.
