My experience as a new mother
I had never imagined myself as a mother. When I was younger I would always say that motherhood wasn't for me and that it would be just fine if I never had a child. This year I became a mother and it changed my life forever. I had a baby boy that is now the love of my life. My life has definitely become more difficult. I am unable to just go anywhere I want or take a nap whenever I want, but it was well worth it. I've had many sleepless nights and dark circles under my eyes but when your little one does something new every week it will melt your heart. I've always said that motherhood isn't for everyone but I am so glad that I was blessed with my baby boy because he has taught me the real meaning of life.
I have the utmost respect for women who choose to become mothers! I have been in the delivery room twice with my ex-wife with our two children. And how in the world a baby can pass thru an opening of 10 cm I'll never know and don't ever want to experience!
I asked the doctor when my son was born, "Doc, what happens if I pass out on the floor?" His response was priceless "We're going to leave you there and take care of her! I survived and to this day have an immense respect for what it takes to bring that baby into the world!
Enjoy that precious gift while you can! They grow up so fast : )

My upvote isn't worth much right now, but I promise to follow you and support you during your first few posts here. It's amazing isn't it, what parenthood can do to change you?
I can still remember how it feels like seeing my daughters for the first time, and can only imagine how mothers feel having carried the babies in their womb for 9 long months seeing them for the first time.
Best of luck raising your beautiful son.
