فهنالك شيء واضح جدا وهو أنه نظرا إلى الليونة التي يتميز بها الدماغ البشري فإنك لو كنت على وشك ابتكار وسيط يعيد تركيب شبكة الدوائر الالكترونية الكهربائية الجديدة في الدماغ البشري لتصبح أكثر سرعة و دقة قدر الإمكان . فربما ينتهي بك المطاف إلى تصميم شيء يشبه ويعمل مثل الانترنت فالمشكلة ليست في ميلنا إلى استخدام الانترنت بانتظام ولكن في تقديم الانترنت للمحفزات الحسية والمعرفية المتكررة والمكثفة و التي تسبب تغيرات قوية جدا وسريعة في الدوائر الكهربائية في المخ ووظائفه لذا نعتبر الانترنت اليوم إحدى أقوى التكنولوجيات المسببة لتغيير العقل وهي على أقل تقدير تعتبر المؤثر الأكثر قوة.
