I was at Alexandra Retail Centre to buy some groceries. Near the outside of the supermarket, there’s a posted telling me 10 days to Chinese New Year which we is the Lunar New Year which is 5th of February this year. However, LiChun which is the first day of spring is the lesser known new year according to the Hsia calendar is on 4th of February. This decoration at the open area of Alexandra Retail Centre has the Chinese character 春 which means spring. 😎
