Monocrome Streetphotography - MONOMAD

I love shooting in black and white for streetphotography. A simple trick I usually use is to shoot on JPEG+RAW and I put the JPEG on a monochrome preset. The RAW file will still have colors, but this way you can check if the image works better in B&W our you would rather use the colored file.

Also I feel that shooting on B&W helps with composition. I’m not distracted by the colors and only focused on getting the best composition in the frame. 

Above you can find a picture that I shot in the financial district of Amsterdam (south).
