Wall Makeover Story

So, this is something I've done two years ago.
There is this wall that belongs to our next door but it's facing our entrance doors!
The wall was so ugly I couldn't put up with it any more. I really wanted to do some makeover of that ugliness I had to look at every day but our neighbor was so tough to talk to (surprise, surprise!) always making excuses for not letting me touch that wall at all. Stupid. Long story short, some years later he finally was ok with it.
I went to the beach, collected many pebbles and started gluing them up on to the wall.
I have started off with completely different idea of the image that I was supposed to make, but this was my very first time doing something similar and at the end I had to be led by the image itself that actually wanted to show up, instead to be forcing it my way.
What an experience!

It was a very messy work, with pebbles falling off most of the time. It took me quite lot of work to figure out right consistency of the cement and water mixture to keep it all in place.

After nearly two weeks of working outside on that wall in December ! (not the smartest idea of all!) the work was done and all pebbles in places, firmly glued and I was so pleased!

Now, every time I see it or even stop to look at it it makes me feel relaxed and somewhat proud of myself. 😉

Amazing work done, it must have been a stressful one for you. Sincerely it looks beautiful.
I see your point. Nothing stops from achieving what you want, believe in your self backup with Hardwork and you will achieve it all.
