Due to my career crisis, I'm off on the sidelines (haven't posted in over a month) until I can figure something out. The amount of canceled/delayed projects this year is absolutely staggering. Been thinking outside the box and ready to implement some off-chain tactics :)
Thanks for stopping by! My work life is also in shambles. Projects have all dried up and nothing seems to be coming my way. Its going to be a very long summer. I wish you luck with your off-chain tactics... I definitely need to develop a new approach.
That's unfortunate to hear... I did the math on the projects that fell through (this year alone!) and it's around 60 - 70k worth, a crazy amount to miss out on. These chimps tell me point blank that they want to work with me, then most completely disappear... Some are polite and professional enough to tell me they've changed their mind — and best case — there's an indefinite delay, but the project is still on...
I think I've fine-tuned a plan to at least pay the bills while these raging monkeys are done throwing their seemingly endless buckets of yuck at me... but for now, I'd do almost anything for a plexi-glass riot shield :D
Wow, yeah my income is down majorly as well and its destroying my savings. Glad you have a plan in place to cover the bills. I need to do some financial triage.

Definitely, the wolf is constantly at the door - and it's getting worse (with some brief seasons of relief) since 2016. I think I still have a window of opportunity, but if I don't act on it ASAP, I'm going to regret it.
I'll never trust these turkeys again, and once I have better footing, I'm going to demand pre-payments beforeI take them seriously :D
