The water looks to be calm. That is good. If the waves are too high, it slows the race down. Rough water is tough to ride a boat in. Much less race in it.

Makes me think of my fishing and boating days. Too busy now. Ha

    After we finished the construction of protective constructions (dam), we have now no large waves and severe floods. For the past several years we have become calm.
