@pierce-the-veil: INTRODUCTION AND ANNOUNCEMENT OF A NEW STEEMIT ENTERPRISE!

Steemers now have an important decision to make. Do I stand by and do nothing about abuse on this site? Or do I take 5 minutes out of my day to flag known abusers.

I for one choose action. No MORE SHENANIGANS!

PERSONAL COMMITMENT TO STEEMERS:

I personally am dedicating two days a week tracking every single verified troll i can find for flagging. Why? Because they provide no value of any kind and 10 times out of 10 their posts contain threats, abuse, and harassment.

@pierce-the-veil has become inspired to lead the charge against abusive and harassing users on steemit.
I invite @ned @dan @dantheman @berniesanders @smooth to weigh in here with their suggestions.

To place this practice into effect, I have created a crafty solution, in addition to personal avenues (confidential agency sources) which I am utilizing as we speak.

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT:
On this the 19th Day of August 2016 came to assembly and to hand, the founding member @pierce-the-veil and inclusive, any potential joining members and; by their express will do hereby FOUND the heretofore entitled "TROLL BAN BRIGADE" and, by our will we do mutually bind our respective moral judgments, bringing to bear the same, with a most terrible fury, upon any such user who engages in ABUSE, THREATS, or HARASSMENT (a/k/a TROLLING) and; We do further declare our common interests to be self preservation and monetary gain resulting from responsible curation, and limited to the domain known as steemit.com, and specifically in the following:

I. PURPOSE:

1. Responsible Curation;
2. Identification & Targeting of Active or Confirmed Troll Accounts (@feminism- target number one)
3. Pro-active Swarm Defence of Harassed Persons in the Steemit Community (flag troll, upvote poster replies to troll, up-vote each others substantial replies)
4. Petition Founders in a manner most convenient to the Brigade Members to ensure further protections or action is taken.
5. Whale Initiation (Seeking out whales to join the TROLL BAN BRIGADE)

II. MEMBER DUTIES:

1. Take at least one hour per week of steemit use to actively search for and flag trolls. (this of course applies to abusive behaviour, threats, and harassment, not dislike of any given persons opinion).
2. Reach out to at least one dolphin or Whale per week(drop a comment pertinent to their posts/comments and include an invitation to join the brigade, or provide solutions, in such a comment)
3. Post your results, actions taken, etc. in our weekly TROLL BRIGADE REPORT- "TBR" (POSTED EVERY MONDAY).

III. MEMBER REWARDS (SELF INDUCED)

1. Increase visibility to your account name, posts, etc.
2. Receive recognition for responsible curation, and build a following/reputation points
3. Receive upvotes from other members in the comments section of the weekly TBR, thereby increasing author/curation reward opportunities.

IV. REQUIREMENTS TO JOIN:

1. User must have a reputation score of not less than Thirty Five. These members are free to join.
2. "Honorary" Members may join provided that they upvote at least 3 active posts by @pierce-the-veil.

V. GENERAL RULES

1. Have fun, be honorable, and flag swiftly.
2. Take time to rally around and support those who are being harassed, it may benefit you greatly.
3. Please refrain from death threats, counter-abuse, etc. (Free-Reign to speak as you wish, notwithstanding those conditions).

1. Displays low to average intelligence.
2. Easily Baited.
3. Consistently posts on multiple fronts, bouncing from intended "victim" to "victim"
4. Responses or Replies from this Troll are generally limited to one liners suggesting various threatening actions, explicit acts, etc. (overall typical and quite manageable).
5. Repeat Offender, known past account is @earnest.
6. Acts without thinking, quick to anger or name calling.
7. More than likely between 15-23 years of age, gender presumed male, small penis and resulting fragile ego.

This troll appears to be severely butthurt, brigade members and steemers can expect numerous activity in my future blogs and comments sections due to his continued performance.

A. By his continued trolling, and based upon notice given by me and received by him, @feminism (or any successive accounts) has implicitly agreed to my contract terms.

B. In the mean time I will be proactively including this Troll Notice in every post hereafter, in order to bring maximum visibility during the pendency of my personal investigation. The more he comments in this or any other post, the more opportunities we received to responsibly curate, make money, and keep steemit on track with its original values.

Oh how easy it will be.
