RE: Why You Should Hoard 90% Silver Graded US Coins
I'm a big fan of Classic Commemorative half dollars produced from 1892-1954. All of my commemorative halves are slabbed. I currently have a 1936-D Texas, 1936-S Bay Bridge, 1925-S California, 1926-S Oregon Trail, 1923 Monroe Doctrine, and 1924 Huguenot-Walloon. I also own a 1893 Columbian Expo as a raw VF/XF, with rainbow toning. I also buy common date Morgan dollars with proof-like fields. I own a couple of Carson Cities. The most expensive silver coin I own is a 1921 high relief Peace dollar graded by PCGS. I also really like the pre-1933 US gold coins, I got a good deal on a 1883-S half eagle that I think is a "sleeper" coin. The 1883-S does not exist in MS65 or higher, MS64 is the finest known. Sorry for my previous comment.
