No King But Jesus: A Biblical Answer to America’s Debt, Caesar, and the Fight for Honest Money

By The Monetary Realist

“Render unto Caesar…” — but what if Caesar has no rightful claim?”

We are enslaved by a system that prints debt and calls it wealth.

We are taxed not for the common good, but to pay interest on money created from nothing.

We are told there is no alternative—but there is. And the Bible had the answer long before Bretton Woods or the Federal Reserve ever existed.

  1. You Can’t Pay Off Debt with Debt

All modern money is created through borrowing. Every dollar in circulation is a Federal Reserve Note, born as a loan—with interest. But the interest doesn’t exist in the money supply, so more debt must constantly be created to keep the system alive.

“The borrower is servant to the lender.” – Proverbs 22:7

  1. JFK’s Challenge to the Fed

In 1963, President John F. Kennedy issued Executive Order 11110, authorizing the U.S. Treasury—not the Fed—to issue debt-free silver-backed United States Notes.

It was a threat to the Fed’s monopoly.

Soon after, JFK was assassinated. The notes disappeared. The Fed’s grip tightened.

  1. Legal Tender: Coercion, Not Freedom

Legal tender laws force Americans to accept fiat currency. They block honest exchange.

The Bible calls this out:

“Divers weights and divers measures are abomination to the Lord.” – Proverbs 20:10
“Ye shall have just balances, a just ephah…” – Ezekiel 45:10

Fiat money, enforced by law, is an unjust weight.

  1. Usury and the Tax Trap

Today, taxes don’t just fund services. They fund interest on national debt.

“Thou shalt not lend upon usury to thy brother.” – Deuteronomy 23:19

Half of U.S. tax revenue goes to interest payments, not progress.

When Jesus was asked about taxes in Matthew 17:24–27, He made a powerful point:

“Of whom do the kings of the earth take tribute? of their own children, or of strangers?”
Peter said, “Of strangers.”
Jesus replied, “Then are the children free.”*

Still, to avoid offense, He told Peter to cast a line. A fish brought the coin. He didn’t ask Judas for treasury funds. He provided miraculously.

  1. Who Is Caesar Today?

Not a Roman. Not a crowned king.

Today’s Caesar is:
• The Federal Reserve
• The IMF
• The IRS
• Globalists in suits, unelected but empowered

Jesus said:

“Render unto Caesar what is Caesar’s… and unto God what is God’s.”

You bear God’s image—not Caesar’s. You belong to Him.

  1. Our Founders Understood

“No king but Jesus.”
“Appeal to Heaven.”

These were not slogans—they were spiritual declarations.

The U.S. is a constitutional republic, not a monarchy or empire. The Constitution doesn’t grant rights—it protects the rights God already gave.

  1. The Great Betrayal: From Gold to Fiat
    • The Constitution demanded gold and silver coin (Article I, Section 10).
    • But in 1913, the Fed took control.
    • In 1944, Bretton Woods pegged the world to the dollar.
    • In 1971, Nixon removed gold backing entirely.

Now, every currency is fiat—and every nation is in debt.

  1. God’s Model: Just Weights and Honest Stewardship

God commands:
• No usury
• Just balances
• Stewardship and accountability

“He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much.” – Luke 16:10

  1. So What Do We Render?

Jesus didn’t say give Caesar everything.
He said give Caesar what bears his image. And you?
You bear the image of God.

Caesar can have his coin.
But he cannot have your:
• Soul
• Family
• Conscience
• Allegiance

  1. The Four Pillars of Restoration

  2. End Debt-Based Currency
Reclaim sovereign money—issued by the people’s Treasury, not bankers.

  3. Repeal Legal Tender Laws
Let gold, silver, and alternatives circulate freely.

  4. Eliminate Usury and Taxation for Interest
Stop taxing future generations to serve financial pharaohs.

  5. Cut Waste and Enforce Stewardship
Accountability starts with the church and ends in the halls of power.

  1. Final Word: No King But Jesus

Render unto Caesar what is Caesar’s—but never forget:

You were not made in Caesar’s image. You were made in God’s.

It’s time to:
• Preach truth
• Call out corruption
• Walk in financial repentance
• And reclaim what God entrusted to us

No king but Jesus. No currency but honesty. No power but truth.

Please take note: if your church is incorporated and or a 501 c 3 you might have a problem… see our other articles on that subject or just Waite and I’ll post another.
