My Goal to Make an Extra $30,000 By May 1st 2017
I wanted to put this out there mostly for myself, but also for people who may feel like they set unattainable goals.
The number actually scared me a bit as well at first, but when I broke it down to a daily figure, which came out to about $110/day it seems a lot more achievable. Tough for most, but achievable.
Before I tell you how I intend to arrive at that goal, allow me to share with you, why I created the goal in the first place.
You see, I've finally found my WHY, my reason to strive, I have not had that before. If you haven't guessed it, my 'why' is a lady, and she is the love of my life. I always felt like I needed a reason outside of myself to work harder, and I finally have that reason. Her name is Farah.
That's us a couple months ago when I visited her in Turkey. We just got engaged last month, and will be marrying in June of 2017.
The why , though invaluable, is fairly simple. The how gets a little complicated.
I've started writing a book to start, and aside from blogging on Steemit, I've also created website called Decentralized Revolution (the title of my book), where I intend to share news and insights about blockchain tech, as well as sell my book, in 3 months, when it is ready. I've been researching and writing it for over a year, though the website is barely a week old.
I've contemplated drop-shipping as another option, but honestly I feel a little shady buying from Amazon and selling on ebay at a premium, which is what most successful people in the drop-shipping industry do. If this piques your interest, here's a tip, you can use purse.io to get an additional 15-50% off any amazon item by buying with Bitcoin, and then resell them on ebay.(or just buy them for keeps and enjoy the discount) I just cant get myself to do it, I'd rather teach people about bitcoin and point them in that direction instead. Just personal preference, if you feel okay with that strategy I respect that just the same and even encourage you to go for it.
So that's where the passion behind the book comes from, I'd like to teach people who are not technical about the benefits Bitcoin and blockchain tech will have on our society, once mass adoption takes hold. It's an honorable task, in my humble opinion, but about 99% of books end up as failures that sell less than a 1000 copies. So I should probably come up with a plan B, and a plan C, as well.
Which brings me to the reason I'm writing this post. A bit of free writing to get my mind and ideas flowing to be honest, I literally do not know what I will write next here.
Perhaps I should try drop-shipping, I don't know, but I need to figure it out, and fast. All I have now is the book. I will concentrate on that and double my efforts to finish it as soon as possible, I just might get another good idea on the way.

Thank you for reading this far. I hope this didn't feel too much like a rant, my purpose of writing the post was to share with you how our goals will be a lot more achievable once we break them down into daily tasks.
$30 Grand in 9 months, yeah right.
$110 a day, now you're talking! (That's like one escort appointment. Sigh.)
Enjoy your day folks!
First of all, congratulations on your pending wedding. Finding that special person is wonderful.
Do you think it's viable to make a living on steemit? Can they really generate that much value? It's an interesting experiment. As with Tsu I'll be happy to make beer money.
I'd never heard of drop-shipping. I guess there are all sorts of possible businesses in the internet age.
Thanks Steev! Is it viable? Sure. A few people have already made 100K plus, but I doubt that'll be me. It requires lots of preparation and a little luck I suppose to succeed here, as with anything else. There are so many great blockchain projects, it's hard to pick a winner, but a few already stand out. Like Etheruem, Ripple, Factom, Maid, I imagine those will be with us for a while.
I'm interested in the technology here. I'm not sure my posts can earn that much and there's not even a reward for recruiting, so I don't know how well I can do. @the-bitcoin-dood was on Tsu and has already had a profitable post here, so maybe there is a chance. I guess you have to target your posts at the right audience.
Hi steemers! i ask you to pay attention to this article. After an hour we run this article, what is a Steemit and Steem???
