Why Building A List For Internet Marketing Is The Key

in #money8 years ago

Do you want to start an online business or get into internet marketing. You must first understand the importance of lead generation. You hear people talking about getting traffic from Google, Facebook, and Bing all the time. You can get all the traffic in the world but if you don't build a list with the traffic then all your efforts are only going to waste. You can send the traffic to a website or sales page, and maybe a few people will buy from you, but what happens to the people who don't? How do you get in contact with them again once they leave. It is said that only 2% of your traffic will convert into buyers, if you are not collecting the email contact information of the other 98% that would be a total waste of your traffic. It takes someone looking at your offer at least 7 times before that person will buy from you. The chances of someone buying your offer the first time is really low. It takes time to build trust and for them to see you as an authority in your chosen niche. When you build your email list you are able to follow up with the 98% and send them content that has value and helps them with a problem. It also gets them to trust you. The trust factor gives you a better chance of them buying from you. When you have a list you can continue to follow up with your potential customers and send them relevant offers that will help them achieve what they want. If you use your email list properly you will benefit a lot from it. I was one of the many people that was blind to the importance of an email list and what you can do with it. So what are the things you can do with a list?

  • Send different offers   // make more money
  • Send traffic to affiliate offers   // make money from other people stuff
  • Increase engagement
  • On demand Traffic     // reach people when ever you need too

Consider improving your formatting and offering screenshots next time. Some example e-mails and opt-in pages would be great to see too. ;-)
