Alibaba establishes new sales record of 21.7 billion euros on Chinese bachelor day
The Chinese online store Alibaba has once again established a sales record on "bachelor day" yesterday. The bargain day of the year increased to 21.7 billion euros, or 39 percent more than last year on 11/11.
168,269,635,159 Chinese yen or converted almost 22 billion euros. That's the gigantic final amount of sales on Chinese bachelor day. Money spent on all kinds of merchandise, 90 percent of which were traded on mobile.

165 companies sold over 100 million yen (13 million euros), 17 for more than 500 million yen (64.5 million euros) and six even for more than 1 billion yen (129 million euros). The attractiveness to the customer are the many discounts that are being met.
At the peak, Alibaba scored 256,000 transactions per second. In total, Alibaba processed 1.48 billion payments, 41 percent more than in 2016. Good for 812 million home orders, or 23 percent more than last year. After almost two minutes, the cap of $ 1 billion was rounded, after thirteen hours of the record of last year (15.3 billion euros).
