RE: Sci-fi Novel - The Love Algorithm - Part 39

The story poses some interesting questions regarding cause-effect, fate and justice.
It is true that bad things can happen reiteratively until a person's capacity to survive collapses. People, especially believers, like to think that everything happens for a (good) reason and that we can endure/carry anything that is put on our shouders. Truth be told, some people can't carry some burdens and go crazy, harm others, or kill themselves.
The idea of time curing everything is also controversial, considering that time itself does not do much. A wound can actually get worse in time and an emotional pain can only grow deeper in time, unless certain things happen, which can be the actual contributing factors of a healing process.
As the story suggest, even if we try really hard, there is only so much we have actual control over.
