The Other Side #69 bizarre

in #missouri7 years ago

It’s getting bizarre; our government is being run by Fox news commentators and yes men. The President is going through cabinet members like Sherman went through Georgia and appointing radical right-wing fact deniers. Bolton is a war monger, and will certainly put our military in harms way, Doctor Jackson has never run a large agency and must have trouble reading numbers because he stood in front of all of us and said the President only weighs 235 pounds! Good luck to Veterans.

Our only hope is that Bolton says Trump is a moron and is replaced with the Presidents caddy.  If President Trump is using Bolton as the “big stick” when talking to North Korea and Iran it won’t go well. I watched the Stormy Daniels interview on 60 Minutes and thought Stormy was more prepared and articulate than Betsy DeVos was for her interview. Do I see an appointment coming?

On the State front, the August primary candidates are set with 21 candidates filing for Senator, but the initiative petitions are not. Jay Ashcroft and the GOP are still messing with the Right-to-work issue. As you know, you will have to vote no to repeal, and now I hear there is another petition going around in support of Right-to-work. This is an effort to further confuse voters. The petition drive is over, and it will appear on the ballot, so don’t be tricked into signing another Right-to-work petition.

They are still collecting signatures for medical marijuana, as a cancer victim, I’m asking for your support. Anything that eases the suffering is a good thing, not to mention jobs and taxes. There are no organized groups filed in opposition to medical marijuana.

Perhaps it is the lack of sunshine, or maybe anticipation of Spring yet to arrive, but people are agitated, confrontational, and frankly bizarre. Our State Attorney General, the top prosecutor in the State spoke in support of Governor Greitens, who he is supposed to be prosecuting, then failed to show for the budget hearing on Consumer Protection, (his responsibility) resulting in an $6.8 million cut to the agency.  Truly a failure and dereliction of duty by a not ready for prime-time player.
