RE: I'll Use Bid Bot for Exposure and to Earn More Steem, If You Don't Like It, Then Whatever

... if they read my content

This is my point exactly. If they knew how hard we have worked to share great content they’d be leaving a much better comment. People can find out we have used bid bots just by looking at who upvoted the post. It’s fairly obvious from there.
No sense in spamming comments that take away from community interaction.

I noticed these accounts just started doing this less than a month ago. Somebody really must be sour for some reason.

Exactly, thank YOU for also agreeing. I mean ... SteemIt is ALREADY transparent ... people can view the "wallet history" as well as like you mentioned, the "upvotes tab" to see the history of these kind of bid bots. I seriously see no problem with these ... and I see these bid bots as a way to healthily redistribute the Steem/SBD across all of the SteemIt community.

Honestly, I just feel like the few whales who want to hoarde the entire amount of their Steem are a bit butt-hurt that bid bots have come up in popularity. I really think there's only a small minority against it, but the majority of the community would be supportive of bid bots promoting quality posts.

We obviously still need to figure out a way to prevent plagiarism and super poor quality text/image content .. but perhaps, we may never have an exact solution to that ... but those few poor quality accounts shouldn't penalize everyone else in majority that is providing great quality for SteemIt.

Transparency is crystal clear here. It’s refreshing to not have the option to throw up a facade. Forces you to stay true to self.
I’m surprised all of the whales haven’t set up their own bid bots. It’s fairly simple on SteemBotTracker. Plus I see some accounts who have thousands and thousands of Steem, and they just sit around and don’t do a whole lot with it. They could capitalize so easily.
As long as our economy keeps thriving, and nothing causes a complete halt, all we really need is consistent growth. There will be nuisances along the way of course.
Through community-wide communication, and strong witnesses.. we will find solutions!
