Steemit Gems - The Blessings of Minnow Support Project
Surprise Blessing
One thing about Steemit is that it's full of surprises. Today when I arrived home I checked the mailbox. Usually I find bills and junk mail. I clear the box to make room for more bills and junk mail.
Today I found an envelope with a beautiful hand made card and message from our own @kubbyelizabeth. The message uplifts and encourages me. The gift of her time and sweet spirit traveled across the miles separating us and put a warm glow in my heart and smile on my lips.
It reminded me of how simple it is to convey love and kindness and how many beautiful and intelligent people inhabit Steemit. People who quietly share their love and support by thoughtful gestures. Simple things like sharing a warm comment, voting or resteeming can make someone's day.
I met @kubbyelizabeth in the PAL network on the Discord app. Much love to @aggroed who created PAL for the Minnow Support Project as part of his Witness project with over 5000 strong members.
We quickly became friends and her sweet and gentle nature as well as her diligence has moved Kubby into a moderator position where she spends time as a greeter and runs her own moderator project for recruiting for PAL. You can also hear her on mspwaves radio.
Kubby is bubbly and so much fun to listen and talk to!
